About me.

Anthony R. Lewis
I was the guy at school who could draw.
I drew a rose for our Year 9 Art exam and the teacher cried. Creating and designing is something that comes naturally to me. I have to do it.
After excelling in Art and Design during my years in school, I completed a university degree in Fine Art: Painting. In 2007, after quickly realising that more opportunity existed in the digital space, I began working professionally as a Web Designer at an agency in London.
During my early career I was designing and building sports websites for national and international sports teams and governing bodies. These websites were huge (in terms of structure and complexity) and were a baptism of fire for a young designer learning their trade in the days of skeuomorphism and Internet Explorer 6 (if you know, you know).
By the time Flat Design and Responsive Design came around, I was working for PulseLive out of the Sony Europe office. We were working with Hawkeye technology, bringing it to huge sporting events in collaboration with Twitter.
From there I moved into eCommerce, joining one-time unicorn tech start-up, Ve Interactive (later became Ve Global). I spent many years at Ve overseeing their brand identity, and designing/building websites and products within the conversion optimisation space.
Over the years I have led many teams of designers, and worked across a wide range of brands, projects, and mediums.
In 2021, I decided to have a break from the norm. I threw myself back into oil painting, focusing on traditional landscapes. I completed four paintings that year, with one winning a place to be exhibited at a gallery.
In 2022, I entered the Web3 space and created an NFT (non-fungible token) art project on the Tezos blockchain. The project sold out within a day and became one of the highest grossing (in terms of total volume traded) projects of all time on Tezos, to date.
